The 39 Steps Opens October 22nd!

Murder! A dashing hero! A sinister foreign agent! Chases in planes, trains, and automobiles! All this, and a live jazz combo, too!

We are excited to announce that our Fall 2014 play The 39 Steps (author: John Buchin, adaptation: Patrick Marlow) opens on October 22, 2014 at 7:00 pm. The 39 Steps is a new interpretation of the Alfred Hitchcock classic spy thriller of the same name. Our production of The 39 Steps features two distinct casts (each performing three shows), as well as a live jazz combo from the WHS music department. The play will be performed October 22, 23, 24, 25 at 7:00 pm, plus both a matinee & evening show on November 1 (1PM & 7PM). Tickets will be available at the box office in the WHS Theatre.

Here are some behind-the-scenes shots from rehearsals:

A Sneak Peek at the 2014-2015 Season

The WHS Theatre Company is excited to announce the lineup for its 2014-2015 season! The season will kick off with a comedic take on the classic suspense story "The 39 Steps" this fall (October 22-25). In the winter, the Company will delve into Shakespeare's classic tale of romance and tragedy, "Romeo and Juliet" (January 28-21). The Company will then wrap up in the spring with the award-winning musical "Fiddler on the Roof" (May 1-2 and 7-9). It's going to be a great season, and we look forward to seeing you at the performances!
